Flexible dentures – no palate!

Acron

We design acron dentures in such a way that the plate connecting all the teeth together does not reach far into the throat and does not irritate the palate causing a gag reflex. A lot of people have this problem so we found a solution!

We invite everyone willing to make flexible dentures from the innovative ACRON. We have already withdrawn from our offer such products as nylon, acetal or metal-skeleton prostheses (used for half a century!!! which, by the way, we do not recommend to anyone because of the technological gap between ACRON. You cannot compare this material to NYLON, which is outdated, absorbs moisture, becomes rough, discolored and unpleasant in the broad sense of the word after a year of use.

Why us?

The prices of our flexible dentures are very affordable, thanks to the fact that we manufacture them in our own dental laboratory. Such a combination of your own dental practice with a laboratory gives commensurate benefits for the patient.

ACRON is a crystalline and structurally clean material. This means that it does not contain any other admixtures of popular acrylics, nylon or acetals, as is the case in the above-mentioned FJb-ETC type prostheses (a mixture of old acetal and nylon…) – imitating ACRON.:)))

“ACRONIT is an innovative material created as a result of 7 years of research by Polish Scientists and 5 years of clinical tests. ACRONIT has an INTERNATIONAL PATENT that protects it against copying.

ACRON is a pretty, slightly pink, semi-transparent material that, when placed in the mouth, blends in color and aesthetically with the base and tooth necks. Other materials only try to imitate these features (FJb-ETC or Nylon, but the color – milky pink, is far from the appearance of natural gum … A prominent example of this are ACETAL dentures, which have a white construction, which was supposed to be invisible and maximally aesthetic However, white clasps (of course, color matched to your own teeth) in practice do not look very natural and certainly not aesthetically pleasing.Acetal dentures can work well in case of wing defects (lack of lower>>lateral<< teeth), because we rarely laugh like this, to discover the necks of the lower canines (triples) on which the clasps of the dentures most often run.

Partial dentures as well as complete dentures are made of the ACRON material. For people with single missing teeth, this material is perfect for the so-called tooth clip – a microprosthesis of a single tooth, which does not have a palatal plate and metal hooks, which unfortunately have a very destructive effect on your own teeth …

The Acron denture holds very firmly in the mouth. When inserting it, the prosthesis makes a characteristic click, which means that it “sits” securely in place and you do not have to constantly remember about it if it slips off your teeth during a conversation or eating. When making prostheses for over twelve years, I do not know a better material that has such properties. Similar features when it comes to maintenance are only found in metal-skeletal dentures, but due to their metal clasps, which are cast from dental alloys, their very high hardness and practically no flexibility – I strongly advise against it. we can make them (so to commemorate the history of dental technology – artistic metallurgy…)

Trying to compare the description of the flexibility characteristics of acron prostheses, they resemble a bent spring. This helps to insert the prosthesis into the mouth despite the non-parallel nature of the natural teeth. Ordinary, new acrylic dentures would have to be filed hard when fitting in the patient’s mouth. Many people know these stories when new, freshly made dentures cannot be put back into place when handing over new, freshly made dentures. The dentist struggles for half an hour to adjust the prosthesis, and when he manages to put it on, the prosthesis is rough, dull, usually out of calibration and loose. In these places, food will collect, deposit scale or sediment at an accelerated pace…

Of course, all the information here about various types of dental prostheses is our objective opinion, developed while running our own private dental practice, together with a dental technology laboratory. Soon a comparison of all types of flexible dentures available on the market!!!!

Dentures made of Acron do not cause vomiting reflexes after they are put in the mouth. This is due to the fact that we can significantly reduce the palatal plate of the prosthesis to a minimum. There is usually a narrow strip of material connecting the two halves of the prosthesis. The tissues in the oral cavity are very sensitive to any change, which is why we prefer that our dentures are very thin, delicate and their range is limited. All these things mean that the prosthesis has no right to cause a feeling of fullness in the mouth. Also, abrasions and irritations during the adaptation of new, freshly made dentures are negligible, comparing, of course, to an ordinary denture.

We are surprised that traditional acrylic or metal frame dentures are still stubbornly offered on the dental market. Properly positioned teeth in dentures can give the mouth a fuller shape, reduce the sagging of the cheeks and make the skin tighter.

Prosthetics as a field of dentistry

Dentures are basically divided into two subcategories:  permanent dentures and    movable dentures. Permanent dentures are prosthetic restorations located in the oral cavity, without the possibility of removing them on your own. A removable denture is a prosthetic supplement that we remove from the mouth on our own, e.g. in order to maintain daily personal hygiene. These two types of prosthetic restorations make up the general definition of  dental prosthetics.

Removable prostheses  are the most common form of prosthetics. Recent progress has been made in the field of dental technology. Thus, until recently, flexible nylon dentures and flexible skeletal dentures made of acetal were the hit and the peak of possibilities. Unfortunately, this material is too flexible and causes faster atrophy of the alveolar process. We have been making acetal dentures since 2006. Acetal dentures are bonded with ordinary acrylic, the same as used in partial and full acrylic dentures. Thus, the claim that acetal dentures are non-allergic is a myth, because acrylic is necessary to make them. When it comes to aesthetics, the acetal prosthesis is far from ideal, because the buckles and the entire prosthesis are made in white and its various shades. As a result of 7 years of research by Polish scientists and 5 years of clinical trials, an innovative material was created – ACRONIT.

It is an elastic-elastic material under the trade name Acronit. We use it to make both full and partial dentures (especially partial ones).

Flexible dentures made of Acronit have a modulus of elasticity selected in such a way that they do not cause accelerated atrophy of the alveolar process (gums), as is the case with nylon or acetal dentures.

Complete dentures can also be flexible, but their main part on which the teeth are set must be hard so that the denture can perform its function. The inner part, i.e. the one that adheres to the palate, is made of a more or less flexible material. Such a combination of two materials in one prosthesis is called a hybrid. Hence – hybrid prostheses.

Permanent dentures  – are complements, as the name suggests – permanently embedded in the patient’s mouth. Porcelain bridges are the most popular. There are also (recently very popular) composite bridges on fiberglass. In our opinion, the best solution when it comes to material in the oral cavity is porcelain. Porcelain bridges and crowns are the most biocompatible material. Performing them in a dental laboratory, the technician repeatedly burns porcelain in a dental ceramic kiln, where the temperature of melting and crystallization of porcelain reaches 930-980 degrees Celsius. In the final stage, the entire work is covered with liquid porcelain, the so-called glazing and sintered at high temperature, giving the work a deep gloss and a guarantee that during the continuous “stay” in the mouth, the work will be clean and no tartar will settle on it.

Another fixed prosthetic supplement is inlay-onlay. These are figuratively writing “large fillings” also made of porcelain, but more often in this case composite by a technician in a dental laboratory. The technician performs them on a plaster model based on the impression taken by the dentist. Then the dentist sticks the finished in/onley onto/into the tooth.

Tooth veneers – another permanent prosthetic supplement. We perform them on the teeth in the anterior section also by a dental technician. The material we use is porcelain – press (embossed) and individually characterized. Porcelain veneer is a thin piece of porcelain “glued” by the dentist to the front teeth (after prior preparation)

Coronal-root inlays  we recommend  fiberglass  and not cast chrome-nickel steel.  Fiberglass inlay is to some extent  flexible< /strong> so it does not crack  the root of the tooth in which it is cemented.
